Armor is a type of equipment item distinct from weapons and accessories . Shields are a type of armor.

Each armor has the following stats:
Equipment Level (0-5)
Grade (1-3)
Defense
Weight
Composes :
+ = SP Bonus, increase your total SP.
+ = HP Bonus, increase your total HP.
+ = HP on kill, regain some HP when killing an enemy.
+ = SP on kill, regain some SP when killing an enemy.
+ = Defense Bonus, flat defense bonus
+ = % Defense Bonus, calculated off your defense stat in the character panel.
+ = Crit. Rate, increases the odds of landing a critical strike, which does double damage.
+ = Magic Resistance, increases the odds of entirely nullifiying a magic attack.
+ = Drop Rate, increases the drop rate .
+ = Block Rate, increases the odds of entirely nullifiying a melee attack. (Shield only)

Compose Points=[Grade]+[Equipment Level]+4
Required Level=5*[ID]+1, except the hats with the IDs 11-16, where it's just 1.
